Saad's Extraits de Parfum are not assembled from catalogue materials. Each composition begins with a raw ingredient - an oud oil, an animalic accord, a resin - that warrants being built around. The fragrance is constructed to serve that material, not the other way around.
The result is perfumery that smells of decisions - of knowing exactly what you wanted to say, and the discipline to say nothing else. Limited editions because the materials are limited. Retired permanently because repetition would cheapen what was made.
